We recognise that there is a long road ahead of us and there is much work to be done. Using Saul’s 3 year old daughter’s building blocks, we prototyped what the next year would look like – what paths we want to explore and what obstacles we anticipate. The room was ramped up with an entrepreneurial spirit ready to build the foundations of this project.

On Nov 1st, our dear friend Charlotte Millar (WWF-UK) came to The Hub Bay Area to tell her story of The Finance Innovation Lab. Since 2008, WWF-UK and ICAEW have been convening The FinanceInnovation Lab, an open environment in which people can come together to explore, innovate and evolve the financial system so that it sustains people and planet. The project was born out of an inquiry into the current financial system, which shapes the way we live, defines what things are worth, what is valued and what is not. The Lab currently has three core activities:
